Cory

My favorite bridge is the Steel Bridge. The Steel Bridge is located at N Steel Bridge in Portland OR. It is a double decker vertical lift bridge across the Willamette River. It was opened in 1912.  It is the second oldest vertical lift bridge in North America. They call it the Steel Bridge because it is made of steel. It is the only double decker bridge with independent lifts in the world.

The steel bridge is my favorite bridge because it can do 4 thing at once.  It can carry people, trains, and bikes on the lower level. On the top level it can carry car traffic.

Ms. Luria - I like how you used sources for your writing! Isn't it amazing that we have the second oldest vertical lift bridge in the US!
