White Nose Syndrome is a problem in the U.S. and Canada. It's a problem because it kills bats. WNS kills part of the environment. It also causes farmers to pay extra money because the bats can't eat the bugs that harm their plants. White Nose Syndrome has killed more than 7 million bats.

White Nose Syndrome is a problem because it kills bats. Is spreads form peoples clothes. So change your clothes before going into another cave. It normally kills bats in winter. Many bats die from White Nose Syndrome. If the bats wake up from hibernation they'll starve or die of thirst. Since that's going on, we need to keep it from spreading to here.

How do bats help farmers? Bats help farmers by eating plant hungry bugs. That saves farmers lots of money. If there are bugs, they will eat the plants. So, bats also save plants from being eaten by bugs. If bats are dead who will eat the bugs. That's how bats help farmers.

My action plan is to put posters around the school. I will do it just after Thanksgiving. It will help letting people know it's a problem. That is my action plan. I will get the paper for the posters from Ms. Luria. They will be decorated with bright colors. That's how my action plan will happen.
