Dragons
are mythological creatures which means they are made up. Dragons are mostly in
mid evil fairy tales or stories. Some dragon defense is being able to breath
fire.
Dragons
are in mid evil stories of fairy tales. IN some fairy tales the prince has to
slay the dragon because the dragons guarding the castle and that’s where the
princess is. Another story is maybe like people are trying to slay the dragon
but it is some ones friend and finally the people find out... Something like
that.
Some
dragons can breathe fire. Their scales are fire proof, they make nest out of
stick and then the sticks are burnt do hot coals to keep the egg warm.
I like reading medieval stories about dragons. I also like modern stories about dragons like Anne McCaffery's stories about a world called Pern where people ride on dragons. Soon you will be old enough to try reading her books. One of my favorite short books about Pern is Dragonsong. When you are ready to read a chapter book, I hope that you will try that one. Another good book about dragons is Bruce Coville's Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher.

Another cool thing about dragons being mythological creatures is that there are never pictures of them, only drawings. It is fun to see what people think dragons looks like as it is different from person to person!
