    A Person I Admire

A person I admire is my brother. He is a nice person. He’s also funny.

My brother is nice because he baked a cake with his girlfriend Terra. She put little bit of sprinkles, but my brother just poured the whole thing on the cake.

My brother is funny one time when we were going to the store, we were telling jokes. He made us laugh a lot. We could not stop laughing.

I will always respect my brother.

Parker

    A Person I Admire

I admire my dad. Sometimes when I’m bored he plays with me. He works hard at his job, and he always cheers me up.

Every once in a while we go to the movies for a movie or two or go to a water park. The most fun we have is when we go wave running or going camping with my cousins and Aunt Kari and Uncle Justin.

He always brings enough money from his job for us to have fun for a long time, like going camping or something fun. We also use some money to buy clothes.

Whenever I’m sad, he tries to cheer me up. He succeeds by by making me laugh. Sometimes he tells jokes. Sometimes he just talks to me. I really love my dad.

My mom is important to me. My mom takes me to school when she she doesn't have doctors appointments. It’s ok because she need to got the doctor.

My mom makes really good lasagna. It’s good because she make her cheese. My mom also picks me up from YMCA. YMCA is after school program. It is fun because it has a bunch of toys and it has lagose. My mom always helps me with my homework. I love my mom.

Ben

A Person I Admire

A person I admire is, Adam Lumbert. He’s a awesome singer, He inspired me to be different. How he inspired me? You might ask? The first time I saw him perform I realized he’s a great singer. I thought and realized that instead of trying to be the popular kid,why not be myself. Even though I went by the name of weird more people liked me for me, I even went to school with painted nails.

He was born in 1982 Indiana. He was the 8th runner up for American Idol. He’s one of few openly gay singer. His first song was for your entertainment, so that is why I admire Adam Lambert.

Reese

I admire my mom because when I have a problem she fixes it. Like one time, I was being picked on at school. I called my mom and he was expelled for a year for some reason. It would be at least a month. This is why I love my mom.

Another reason I admire my mom is she helps me with my homework. When I’m sick, she gets me soup I like any kind of soup. She is the best. There are a bunch of things I can’t do without her. She donates clothes to my school that is nice. This is why I love my mom.

Lucia

I have many people I admire, but the most person I really admire is my grandma. I admire my grandma because, she keeps me company when I am alone. Also, she is so nice to me. I also, like her because she is a little bit strict.

One day I was all alone and my grandma came and kept me lots of company. When my grandma came, we started to color.

My grandma, is so nice to me. One time I asked her if I could help her cook a little and my grandma said yes.

When I went to see my grandma last year, we did so many fun things. One of the things we did was that she taught me how to sew. It took me like 5 times to learn how to. But finally I learned. Another things we did was color.

Those are some reasons I admire my, grandma, but there is a lot more reasons.

Lucia

I like to take field trips. My first field trip was when I was in Kindergarten. we went to Albertsons. In Albertsons, the people who worked there showed where all the things were. After a while we had to go back to the school. When we got back to the school, we had to write or draw about the field trip. When I got home, I told my parents about our field trip.

I will never forget my first field trip. It was so much fun.

One person I respect is my mom. I respect my mom, because she buys me stuff. I also respect her because she is a special part of me.

She pays for a lot of stuff. I like when she pays for my clothes. I love when we go shopping. She spends some money on herself. She buys skinny Jeans, T-shirts, and under stuff.

My mom is a special part of me because she raised me to be brave and strong kid. She makes me act like a mature kid.

I love my mom. I hope I become a good mother!

Violet

A person I can count on

A person I can count on my grandma! I can count on her if I have a problem. For example when I needed a pays to stay for a while. She also is very fun. She goes swimming. She actually won a bronze medal for swimming. She also takes me other places like the movies. One time we saw the princess and the frog  at the movies. My Grandma has a dog named Pumpkin. She is danger and a pit bull mix. We do other things to like shopping, especially when its school time. We go shopping for cloths and school supplies.

I admire my cousin. I admire my cousin because she helps with my homework.

She rides with me each day I to go bike riding. She help me out with school problems. I was scared of the dark but now I’m not because she helped me. She told me to breath in and out and think of good stuff. I would close my eyes and breathe in and out.

My Grandma and I

My Grandma and I do fun things with each other, like playing Bingo or board games and each other stories.

sThen another day we were siting on her bed, we got a little hungry so we made dinner. After dinner, we wanted something sweet, So I asked her could we bake a sweet potato pie? She said yes, so we made the crust and boiled the yams and mashed them and ate them.

Mateo

Don't scare the babysitter!
A story dictated by Mateo.

Mommy and Mama lion were going to the watering hole to get some water. "Little cub, your favorite babysitter is coming, Melanie. Be good!"

Scott was very excited. Scott and Melody loved it when their babysitter Melanie came to watch them. But when Scott became too excited he tended to ROAR (because that's what lions do), and scare the other animals.

"Hey! Let's go to the park," said Melanie.
"OK," said Scott and Melody.
"We need to get on your paw shoes."
"Help me."
"Try again!"
"Will you please put on my paw shoes?"

Melanie put Scott and Melody in the cub car seat and they drove to the park. They got on the swings. They went high on the swings. Scott got so excited that "ROOOOOOAAAAAR!" All of the other animals ran away from the park.
"AHHHHH"

"Scott, I think we should go somewhere else. Let's go to playdate PDX. This time let's use an inside voice so you don't scare everyone."

They got in the cub car seat. They drove carefully to playdate PDX. Melanie paid the tickets and they both got stamps on their paws."

Melanie and Melody climbed up to the big green slide. They slid down together. Melanie and Scott held paws and slid down the big slide. Scott got so excited that, "RROOOOOAAAAARRRR."

Everyone very quickly ran out of playdate PDX.

Melanie took them out of playdate PDX and drove them home. When they got inside, Melanie said, "I think that's enough scaring for today. I think it's about bed time for both of you."
"I don't want to go to bed," said Melody.
"I don't want to go to bed. I just want to drink juice all night," said Scott.
"I don't think that's a very good idea," said Melanie, "It's bed time. Now."

Scott and Melody got in their beds. "I'm not tired," said Scott, as his eyes started to look sleepy. Soon he fell asleep.

He started to dream. He was in Egypt. "Oh look," he said, "Camels! I've always wanted to see camels. RRRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRRR."
"AAAAHHHH," said Melanie. She ran and hid in the closet. Her paws and all of her were shaking.

Soon, his Mommy and Mama came home from the watering hole. "Were you good for the babysitter?"

"Yes," said Scott, looking at his paws.
"Where is the babysitter?"
"I don't know."
"Did you scare the babysitter away? You're not supposed to scare the babysitter."
"Here I am," said Melanie. I wasn't scared, just a little startled. Scott and Melody were good little cubs.
