One day in a forest, Dog went to a party. Dog was black and white. At the party he met Bird. Bird was blue with an elegant dress. Bird was nice and friendly.

“Hello. Would you like to eat with me?” asked Bird.

“Sure,” said Dog shyly.

At the table they told their fabulous adventures.

“Well, do you want to come to my house some time?” asked Bird.

“Sure,” said Dog.

“Meet me on Tuesday, the 14th of December at my house,” said Bird.

“OK, that works out for me,” said Dog.

On the 14th of December… Knock. Knock. Knock.

“Yes, come in,” said Bird.

“Hello. What a beautiful house you have,” said Dog.

“I know, I would like a house like that,” Bird said.

After that day they had many dates together.

One time on a date on January 20…

“Don’t you think we should make a house and live together in that house?” said Bird.

“Yes, I would love to,” said Dog.

“Let’s get started on February 3,” said Bird.

“But where do we do our house?” said Dog.

“There near the clearing. I will be waiting for you on February 10,” she said.

“OK,” said Dog.

On February 10 Dog got kind of lost, but he found where they were supposed to meet.

“Hi,” Bird said.

“Hello,” Dog said.

“So, I have engaged some men to do our house,” said Bird.

“We need more if you want to finish on time, you know,” Dog said.

“I know. I engaged more people, but they are coming on different days,” Bird said.

“So now we will have to wait until the house is finished.”

“Yes, but meanwhile we are going on a trip,” Bird said.

“Where will we go?” Dog asked.

“We are going to Mt. Hood to do some skiing,” Bird said.

“But we totally need the gear,” Dog said.

“Oh, I totally forgot about that,” Bird said.

“I know! I remember my dad has a ski shop so we can rent the skis and plus he has everything we need like ski boots, skis, helmets, and maps,” Dog said.

“Do we have to pay?” Bird asked.

“No,” Dog said.

“Well, let’s go and get our skis,” Bird said.

It took a long time and they finally went to Mount Hood.

“This is fun,” Bird said.

“Oh no! Did you reserve a room?” Dog asked

“Yes, I did,” Bird said.

After an hour or more of skiing, “I’m hungery. Let’s go eat,” Bird said.

“Yes. I’m hungry too,” Dog said.

They ate and stayed at the ski resort. On the day when they were about to leave, they heard the phone ringing.

“Hmmm, who do you think it is?” asked Bird.

“Let’s see,” said Dog.   

“Hi, I am here to tell you that your house is finished. I hope you will like it,” the man on the phone said.

“Thank you for working on our house,” said Dog.

“Who was it?” Bird asked curiously.

“Oh, I don’t know his name, but he was one of the workers for our house and said it was finished.” Dog replied.

 “OK, let’s finish packing our stuff and see our new house,” Bird said.

“Great plan,” Dog said.

“OK, let’s pack up our stuff,” said Bird.

After 30 minutes they were finished.

“Hop in the car. We are about to leave,” Bird said.

“Look at our house, it is beautiful!” Dog said.

“Now let’s see if the furniture is moved in,” Bird said.

“Great idea, Dog,” Bird said.

Their home was very tall and had many rooms. One room was the dining room, another was the kitchen, another was Dog’s room. Another was Bird’s room. Another was the ? or food.  Two others were for guests. Another room was the bathroom, etc.

Many animals had intruded on their home, but they always fed them. One time they got so bored to attack them. So they made a trap. If they dialed the wrong number, they would be caught in a metal cage. But if they dialed the good number, they had to be careful--there was a hole covered with leaves and they would fall in it. But if they did fall for that trick, they had to have the right key to open a metal door. Some tried to go by the window, but there was a hole right in front.

One day they found a dog and bird endangered on the ground. “Oh, look at those poor children,” Bird said.

“Let’s adopt them,” Dog said. They loved raising dogs and birds.
"Great idea dog," said bird.

One room was the dining room, another room was the kitchen, another room was dog's room. Another was bird's room, another was a stock of food and there were two other rooms for guests. Another room was the bathroom etc.
Many animals had intruded in the their home, but they had always defended themselves against the animals. One time they got so bored of attacking the animals that intruded, so they made a trap. If they dialed the wrong number they would be trapped in a metal thing. But if they had the dialed the write number they had to be careful. There was a whole covered with leaves and they would fall into, but if they didn't fall for that trick they would have to have the right key to open a door. Some tried to go by the window but there was a hole right in front.

Their trick never failed but noe time sombedy came from the chimney. But they fell on hot fire. The little dog and the little were bird were becoming more beautiful. They could get their own food period. Dog and bird always loved the little bird and the little dog.

In the fall the dog and the bird got married. They went to balls together. They had always loved each other.

Later they heard about other animals coming in the forest. They greeted them nicely and invited them to stay for dinner.  During the winter bird had a great idea.  "Let's go on a honeymoon", bird said.  "Where should we go?" asked Dog.  "Let's go to Antarctica" said Bird.  "We will have to get warm clothes" said Dog.  "Yes, you are right, I will buy them at Columbia" said Bird.  "How we will we travel" asked Dog.  "By plane"  said Bird.  "You go get warm clothes and I will pack the suitcases" said Dog.   "Good plan"  said Bird.  So they went off to do what they had planned."You will stay here and have fun while we are gone"  Dog said to the little bird and little dog.  "OK" they said.  Finally the day had come.  "Are you excited?" asked Bird.  "I am"  said Dog.  When they got to Antarctica, they were so surprised that there was only ice.  They explored the island.  Finally they had met the penguins.  "Hi" the penguins said.   "Nice to meet you"  said Dog.  "Be careful there are lots of dangerous animals out here"   one of the penguins warned.  "Ok, we will be careful"  said Dog.

After they had visited the penguins, they saw an Orca.  Then the Orca tried to eat them.  Bird and Dog ran for their lives!  Dog was a fast runner so he did not get caught.  Bird was a fast flier, so she escaped too.  Bird and Dog went into the hotel.  They went into the restaurant to eat lunch after their scary adventure.  Bird and Dog had french fries and a hamburger.  After lunch they went to their room and watched the news on the TV.  They saw that lots of other animals, like Orcas,  that had killed many people.  They decided to go visit the penguins and tell them what had just happened.  "I told there is a lot of dangerous animals around here"  one penguin said.  "Do you know any other animals that are nice around here?"  asked Bird.  "No"  replied the penguins.  "Do you know a good restaurant?"  asked Dog.  "I do, it is called the Penguin restaurant, and it is the best around here"  said the little penguin.  "Let's go, I am starving"  Bird said.  Then they arrived at the restaurant.  "Why have we come to this dangerous place?" asked one penguin.  "We came here for our honeymoon"  said Dog.  "Oh, have a wonderful time and do you like Antarctica?"  asked another penguin.  "Yes, we do it is really adventurous"  said Bird.  "Have you traveled anywhere?" asked Dog.  "No, but we have heard lots of animals talk about where they live and how it is."  said another penguin.  "Oh Dog, I am getting very sleepy"  Bird said, yawning.  "Me too"  said Dog.  "Bye-bye and have a good night" said the penguins.
It was seven o'clock in the morning.  Since they had a good time, the time went fast and it was time to go home.  "Today is a big day.  We are going back to our house"  said Bird.  "We had a good time"  said Dog.  "Yes", said Bird. When they were about to leave Antarctica, "Bye" said the penguins.  "Bye!"  Dog and Bird said.When they were at their house, "I am so sleepy" said Bird, yawning.  "But, it is not night" said Dog.  "I know" said Bird.  Then Bird just went fast asleep.  "Oh well, I will just get the food from the store and unload luggage" said Dog.  After doing that, it was dinner.  "Bird is still not awake, I must not wake her up" said Dog.  Then he called little bird and little dog to come for dinner.  "You must be starving, did you have enough food" said Dog.  "We went to our friend's house"  they said.  "You are so smart and plus that you, you are old enough to leave home"  "Really" asked little Bird.  "Yes, of course" said Dog.  "I want to build my house just like yours" said little Bird.  "Me too" said little Dog.

So little Bird and little Dog made their own houses.  Then the next day passed and Dog had a great idea.  "Well I guess it is time to have our own children"  Dog said.  "Yes" said Bird.  There is just one problem, you are bird and I am dog, so we cannot have children.
