Kenny

The time I felt proud is when I taught my 2 year old brother how to walk. It started when he was 1 year old. My brother told me want to help baby brother walk I said sure. Then we went with my baby brother, he was at the living room. I called him and he come crawling. I carried him to the wall I told him to stay. Then I got a little far then he was starting to walk and that how I felt proud of my baby brother.

  1. Point: You should be proud of yourself and your little brother is lucky to have a brother like you who wants to help him. You must spend a lot of time with him for him to know your voice and come to you when you call him: "I called him and he come crawling."

Question: Did your little brother ever fall down and start crying? What did you do when that happened?

  2. Point: Kenny, this is a very touching story. I'm sure your mother is also very proud of you for being such a supportive and loving brother to your younger sibling.

Question: How is your baby brother? Can he now walk without falling?

  3. Hi Kenny,
I would be proud if I taught my baby brother how to walk too! I think it is great that your first sentence tells us what you're going to talk about and your last sentence reminds us. "Then I got a little far then he was starting to walk and that how I felt proud of my baby brother." This makes it very easy to read and understand what you want to tell us.

What else can you tell us about that day? Did your big brother clap? Did your baby brother look happy or scared?
