“Bears”
My two favorite bears are
black bears and Polar bears. Black bears are found in the wide range of
northern Canada and Alaska to Mexico, but they’re in Portland too because they’re
at the zoo. Polar bears live i the Artic, though they may live somewhere else.
Black bears are here in
Portland because they live in the zoo, but they really live in the range of
northern Canada and Alaska to Mexico. Black bears cubs leave the den with their
mother for 12 to 18 months after they’re born. Black bears are shy animals.
Polar bears may live
somewhere else, though mostly they live in the Arctic. Polar bears skin is
black. Polar bears can smell a seal under 6 feet of snow.
Bears are amazing animals. I learned more about them reading this. Polar bears sure must have strong noses!
