Don’t
buy a lot of food at the store you don't need. Some people might be trying to
solve the problem. They might be trying to tell people not to buy a lot at the
store. I won’t get a lot of food that I don’t need. This will help because it
won’t make the Earth dirty.

If I may make a suggestion, you might want to include a personal experience to make your story more interesting. For instance, do you ever see your friends waste food? What about your family? Have you talked to anyone about the issue? If so, what did they say?
You've got a great starting point - all you need to do now is elaborate!
