Eleanor

I love taking a walk in the forest on a beautiful spring day. I hear branches rustling above my head and I see spring flowers blowing. As I walk toward the cool, rushing creek. Dry crackly twigs snap beneath my feet I feel the dull green leaves brush against my sides and I glimpse the creek through the lush undergrowth. Beautiful bird song floats through the cool breezy air. This forest is a truly special place for me.

  1. I love your word choice. You have described every element in great detail. You have enlightened my senses as I listen to the branches, see the flowers, feel the leaves, and hear the bird. This is a sign of a very good writer.

  2. You've really captured a brisk, fall walk! I could almost hear the branches rustling!

  3. Great use of adjectives! Watch your sentence structure though. There are two fragments in this one paragraph, and one run-on sentence.
