When Mr. and Mrs. Iverson heard that their friend Sarah and some of the other  workers

from ‘’building bright bridges’’ were going to build a bridge over ‘’toad stream,”  they offered to help .

Sarah said, “Well, could we use your truck to carry supplies?”

Mr. Iverson said , “I guess we could lend you are truck”

So they did , and a few days later they went to pick it up.

As they were walking to pick up the truck, they saw a robins egg as big as a yoga ball!

Mrs.Iverson screamed,”Ahhhhhhhh!!!”

Mr. Iverson just stood there with a big smile on his face. Mr. Iverson used to be a scientist and he wanted to bring it home to study. Mr. Iverson said,” I’ll  go get the truck, you watch the ….. thing! We have to bring it home!!!” So he ran off to get the truck.

Mrs. Iverson didn’t want him to go off on another one of his “science adventures”, so she tried to roll the 1,205 pound egg behind a bush, but Mr. Iverson got back with the truck.

Mrs. Iverson forced herself to help Mr. Iverson to load the egg into the truck.

Mrs. Iverson drove the truck home while Mr. Iverson sat in the back of the truck hugging the egg.

As Mrs. Iverson parked the truck in the garage,the sun started to set.They  got out and went inside leaving the egg in the truck.

They ate  a wonderful dinner, brushed their teeth and went to bed.

They did not have much time to sleep because soon after they got snuggled up,they heard a squacking noise.

Mr. and Mrs. Iverson rushed to the garage where the noise had come from.

When they got to the garage, they saw leathery green wings and a beak poking out of the truck.

Soon they saw a beautiful green dragon fluttering around the  garage.

Mrs. Iverson quickly opened the garage. The strange reptile crashed in to everything in the garage then finally it flew in to the starry black night.
