Ayla

The Princess

The Princess went out to her garden and said to herself with glee, "It is time that I go to the bakery." She found a taxi and said, "No need to be paid. I will pay you with the money from my maid." She got some donuts and a cake and left some for the driver. She knew the king would be mad, so she asked the driver for something to disguise her. The Princess.

  1. Ayla,

    Beautiful story!
Point: I especially enjoyed the end when you wrote about the princess knowing that her dad would not approve of what she was doing and trying to get out of the situation by disguising herself. That is a very imaginative and unique scenario! "She knew the king would be mad, so she asked the driver for something to disguise her."

Question: I would love to know what the princess looks like. What color hair does she have? What is she wearing? How tall is she?

  2. Point: I really liked your excellent use of quotation marks when letting the reader know what the Princess said and how you correctly placed the period inside the quotation mark to say that the speech had finished. "No need to be paid. I will pay you with the money from my maid."

Question: I'd like to know more about why the King was mad and how the maid was going to pay.

    Thanks Ayla!
