Violet

Tiny life on the ground tells about fungus and bacteria. One tiny bacteria is leaves of fungus. Bacteria turns dirt leaves and dirt and also animals into soil. Some bacteria live in places to hot of to cold for us to live in. Did you know bacteria has one cell?

Fungus is also a tiny living thing. A spoon full of dirt has 20,000 fungi in it. Fungi eat plants and animals. Fungus helps the earth.

I learned a lot about tiny life. Like fungus and bacteria. I also learned there are lots of tiny life on the ground.

  1. Hi Violet,

This is a great essay! Very interesting and educational.

In the last paragraph, you write: "I learned a lot about tiny life. Like fungus and bacteria." Is there a way you can combine these two sentences into one sentence? I think it would make the whole thing a bit smoother to read.

Nice job, I like your writing!

  2. Hello Violet,

What an interesting and well written article. I like how full of facts it is. You are right, there is a lot of tiny life, not only on the ground, but everywhere, and it is quite fascinating.

Also, way to go on keeping your paragraphs organized by topic! It is very important to have one subject per paragraph, and you did an amazing job!

I did have a question on one sentence. "One tiny bacteria is leaves of fungus", was a bit confusing for me. Perhaps you meant to give an example of a bacteria?

This is a great example of organized writing, and you should be proud of yourself!

    Keep it up!
