Tiny life on the ground tells about fungus and bacteria. One tiny bacteria is leaves of fungus. Bacteria turns dirt leaves and dirt and also animals into soil. Some bacteria live in places to hot of to cold for us to live in. Did you know bacteria has one cell?

Fungus is also a tiny living thing. A spoon full of dirt has 20,000 fungi in it. Fungi eat plants and animals. Fungus helps the earth.

I learned a lot about tiny life. Like fungus and bacteria. I also learned there are lots of tiny life on the ground.

  1. Hi Ben,
Thank you for your article. I found it very interesting. Especially how bacteria turn plants and animals into soil.

You might rethink the sentence that says,' One tiny bacteria is leaves of fungus.'
Thank you again for your interesting writing and hard work!
    Have a great day!
    All the best,
    Mr H

  2. Point: I found the part about bacteria living in places too hot or cold for us very interesting. "Some bacteria live in places to hot of to cold for us to live in." It's amazing how something so tiny can survive in very different environments!

Question: Is fungus always very tiny? Can we see fungus without a microscope?
