Finn

Poison dart frogs all over the world are dying. Almost every species of them is endangered, and very likely to become extinct. Poison dart frogs are dying because of deforestation. Deforestation destroys habitats and makes food scarce. One thing I can do to help poison dart frogs is putting up posters to warn people about deforestation.
Deforestation kills poison dart frogs and disrupts the life cycle of many animals. There are many causes of deforestation, but the biggest reason is agriculture. Poison dart frogs can be a variety of colors, and they live in South American forests. According to National Zoo's Website, " some poison dart frogs are endangered due to habitat loss". We should protect poison dart frogs because they play a big role in the ecosystem by controlling the bug population. Poison dart frogs are a unique colorful species of frog whose poison helps with hunting and medicine. If we do not do something soon, poison dart frogs may go extinct because of deforestation.

Deforestation affects more than just a poison dart frogs. It affects human and other animals too. It is caused when people cut down trees for wood or paper. Another thing that causes deforestation is agriculture. Agriculture eliminates trees when farmers use the slash and burn technique to clear room for crops. Deforestation can also be caused by over logging. According to the National Geographic Website, climate change is partly caused when we lose trees because "trees absorb greenhouse gases." if we continue destroying our lush forests, there will be no forest left. I do not like the way that sounds.

To help solve the problem, I plan on making posters to raise awareness of deforestation. I plan on doing this before Christmas. On the posters, I will put ways to stop deforestation like stopping the use of papers bags. Also I will put pictures of poison dart frogs and facts about deforestation on the poster. I will make a few main copies and print them. It will help because people will know of the problem and ways to stop it.
