Naime

            Samantha liked caring for puppies. Every day after school she would always got to the Human Society. She and her friends Riley and Suzie would play with the puppies at the Human Society.

            One day she came home and asked her parents if she could get a puppy. They said "we'll talk about it." The next day at breakfast her parents said no about the puppy because you don't take care of yourself."

            The next day she told her friends what her parents had said. Riley made up a plan to earn the money and keep the puppy in her room. Samantha thought it was a great idea so she went to the Human Society and put the puppy she wanted on hold. Since it was Sunday she asked her parents if she could have a chore list.

            Of course her parents asked "Why." She said, I just want to earn money." Well okay, we'll start tomorrow her mother said. "Thanks," Samantha said and she skipped out the room. The next day at school she told Riley and Suzie the good news. Suzie suggested that they come over and help and Samantha agreed. After school they walked to her house. When they got inside her mother gave her the chore list and told her to start.

            So they went upstairs and started doing the list and this is what it said: 1. Clean the room; 2. Clean the bathroom; 3. Set our clothes, do more tomorrow! They thought that they could clean the room easily but they were wrong. “That was a lot of work," Riley said. Then they went downstairs to get the money. Her mom only gave her $1. Samantha said ,"that's all I get?" Her mother said, "you know you only cleaned your room right?" Samantha said, "Of course I know." Then go do the rest of them," her mother said. So they did the bathroom upstairs.

            "I'll do the sink!" Suzie said.

            "I'll do the tub!" Riley said.

            "I guess I'm stuck with the toilet." They scrubbed and scrubbed and finally they were done so they went downstairs.

            Samantha asked her mom if she could have her dollar, her mother said yes.

            So they went upstairs and picked out Samantha's clothes. When they were done they went downstairs and Samantha asked for another dollar, her mother said "yes," and also told her to start doing more tomorrow. So when Riley and Suzie left, Samantha got a phone call saying the puppy she picked already got sold. The next day she went to the Humane Society and found a dog who adored her and it was only $6.00 if she adopted it. So she did more chores and decided to tell her mom about the dog.

            So the next day she went downstairs and told her mom about the dog her mom said, "What? Okay you can have it but if it dies you can't have another one." "Okay!" Samantha said.

            So she got dressed and went to school and told her friends the good news. So Riley and Suzie went with Samantha to get her puppy. When Samantha and her friends got home her mom said, "did you get your new puppy?"

            Samantha said, "did you like to see it?"

           

Her mom said, "no thanks." So the girls went upstairs and decided the name the puppy. Suzie suggested the name Zia, Riley suggested the name Lia then Samantha said, "Zia definitely not but Lia will do." So Lia was the new name for the puppy. One day after school Samantha walked her puppy. People would always say "oh! your puppy is cute," it was a routine. Samantha asked her mom if she could go to Riley's house and her mom said, "sure." So Samantha went to Riley's house, Samantha said,"

            Did you call Suzie?" Riley answered," Yeah she said she'll be here in a little bit." When Suzie got there they started looking on Google for what kind of dog it was. Hours later they found out it was a Beagle then Samantha went home. Since tomorrow was her Sharing day she decided to share Lia. She asked her mom if she could and her mom said, yes as long as it's okay with your teacher. Samantha was so happy that she decided to wait next year to get another dog.
