Chester went for a hike in the woods. He smiled. Everything was so peaceful and the sunlight streamed through the branches of the birch trees.just felt like running but his backpack quickly stopped him from that.his back hadn't matches and magnifying glass how old rope plus a pack of gum drops. Chester is overloaded with utensils anything would happen. Chester's father had took care of that.
"you have to be prepared my lad" patting Chester's shoulder have to be prepared."

Chester shook his head and focused on the trail ahead. Well there wasn't a trail. There was a log bridge crossing the streams that was too large to jump. Chester took a deep breath and stared hard at the bridge. Chester wasn't afraid of the bridge for you to watch plenty of movies where bridges fall and people die.  He didn't want that happening to him. God! he told himself. I am 15 and I'm scared of walking across a bridge. Chester took a deep breath and started across the bridge. Snap!!! The bridge Snapped  and Chester plunged into the water. Chester did a powerful backstroke to avoid getting hit by falling logs. He climbed to the other side of the shore and said,"that water is cold I am freezing!"

He said his backpack by a tree and started collecting logs of wood. He started arranging them in a fire worthy pile. "I think I can start a fire" he said as he opened a box of matches. He scraped and match across the box and a small flame burst to life.he set the logs on  fire with the match. He got a magnifying glass and set it in a position where the sun shone into it. "This will make the fire bigger" said Chester.

When he was done with making the fire bigger he tied a rope above the fire suspended by to tree trunks. He took off his clothes and hanged them on the rope above the fire. "that will dry them" he said. He quickly put the towel on him to cover up himself so nobody would see him. Chester smiled. His father was right! You do have to be prepared when you go hiking!

Mrs. Iverson said, “You know, we should really start to snap pictures for that nature contest you want to enter.’’

Mr. Iverson jumped up. “You're right!’’ he said. “Its not a nature contest, its a N-A-T-I-O-N-A-L   G-E-O-G-R-A-P-H-I-C  contest!” he added.

So they walked to the forest with their old camera. Suddenly they heard a rustle in the bushes. A jack rabbit hopped out.

Mr. Iverson said, “A perfect nature picture!’’

Then the jack rabbit started to hop away.
Mr.Iverson said, “Come back!’’

They started to chase the rabbit. A while later they stopped suddenly. There was a huge white thing the size of a trash can lid.

Mrs. Iverson said,’’What is it?”

Mr. Iverson said, “We could study it at home”
So they decided to take the thing home.

“I’ll get the car, you stay here” said Mr. Iverson.

So Mrs. Iverson stayed with the thing for a while until Mr. Iverson parked the truck by her. They hauled the the thing into the back of the truck. Mrs. Iverson sat in the front driving the car, while Mr. Iverson sat in the back holding the thing. Once they pulled into the garage they stared at the thing.

“ It’s to late to study.” Said Mr. Iverson. So they went out of the garage, ate dinner, brushed their teeth, and went to bed.
“ POUND, KNOCK, CRACK!!!!!!!”
“ POUND, KNOCK, CRACK!!!!!!!!”

Mr. and and Mrs. Iverson woke to the sound of “ POUND, KNOCK, CRACK!!!!!!!”  It was coming from the garage. Mr. and Mrs. Iverson hurried near the garage.

When they opened the garage door their eyes almost popped out! They saw a huge orange reptile rising out from the thing that the Iversons had found. The reptile was so big it made ( what they now found out was a egg) look like a ping pong ball. It was HUGE!!!!!!!

The reptile rose humongous wings and tried to fly but it crashed into the broom. It flew up again, knocked a garbage can over and flew to the garage door. Mr. and Mrs. Iverson stepped away from the garage door and the reptile flew out.

From that day on the Iversons lived a happy normal life, they won the geographic contest and they never knew what the CRAZY reptile was.

THE END

My favorite is pizza. One reason I like pizza is I really like the pepperoni and the sauce. I like a light coat of cheese on my pizza. Once we made a pizza of our own. First, we spread out the dough. Second, we spread the tomato sauce. Third, we sprinkled little bits of cheese all over.

We stuck the pepperoni on last. We put it in the over and waited and waited and waited. Finally, we took it out and ate it. I loved the pepperoni and the crust. Also, another reason I like pizza is the bread crust. I really, really like pizza! My brother doesn't like any pizza except Dominoes pizza. I like the Dominoes crust because it is covered with garlic! But that doesn't mean I don't like other pizza! I really love all pizza!

Did you know that potatoes came from Peru?  People around the world use potatoes in many different ways.  I’m going to tell you their history.

A long time ago, people from Peru became the first potato farmers.  Peru introduced potatoes to Belgium and Italy  Soon the people of Belgium and Italy began to fry up strips of potatoes.  They cut them up and fried them on the stove.  Soon the stripes began to spread around the world.  These strips were called french fries.

Over time, french fries changed a lot!  Soon, people started to bake the strips in a layer of greece to make it tasty.  The fries became very popular.  They began to eat potatoes, hash browns, mashed or fried.  Some popular places potatoes grow are U.S.A., France, Poland, China, India, and Germany.  Potatoes are very popular today.

Now you know where potatoes are from, the foods potatoes can make, and potatoes, history.  Do you like potatoes?

Dear Ms. Luria,

I want to go to this place because (A) we can learn from them, (B) we can watch their behavior and (C) we could maybe have fun petting them.

I want to go to the Humane Society for our feild trip to learn about animals.
We could learn from them by asking about how old they usually live up to or if they were taken to the Adoption Center when they were little.

Also we can watch their behavior to see if the’ve adapted to living in a cage.  That would be interesting, (unless the’re sleeping.)

The funnest part would be petting them.  The class might like that.

I think we should go to the Humane Society for our feild trip!

“I need candy!” groaned Feester (a 9 year old boy who had a taste for sweets.) Then he perked up. He ran to his piggy bank and shook it. A penny fell out. Not enough for candy.
“Mom, can I borrow 10 dimes, 6 nickels and 14 pennies from your bank?!” yelled Feester down the stairs.
“No, way too much candy. Way too much money” said Feester’s mother.
Feester groaned again.
Then he got an idea. He would steal candy. He grabbed a bag and ran out the door.
He got to Barty’s Candy Shop and opened the door. He grabbed a Hershey’s chocolate bar, a bag of 107 Jelly Beans, 7 Reese’s Pieces, 4 bags of gum drops and 2 lolly pops. He smuggled the candy into his bag and ran out the door.
He smiled with glee. He had stolen without getting caught. He had soooooooooooooooooooooooo much candy.
Once he had gotten home he told his mother that he had cans in his bag for his school project. He lied apparently. He ran to his room and was just about to plop a jelly bean into his mouth when a rush of guilt ran through him.
“I have to give this candy back!” he said automatically.
He rushed back to Barty’s Candy Shop and started putting the candy back one by one. He tried not to get noticed.
“Hey there!” called Mr. Barty. He walked over.
“Why are you putting all of that candy away?” he asked.
“Uh” said Feester.
“And why is that jelly bean bag half open?” Barty raged.
“You have been stealing!” he grabbed poor Feester by the scruff.
“But” stuttered Feester.
“No but’s” yelled Barty. Barty was really angry.
He took his cell phone and dialed 911.
“Weeeooo Weeeooo” police cars surrounded them.
“This boy has been stealing my candy” said Barty.
“Hands up boy” said a police.
They brought out a pair of hand cuffs and clamped them around Feester’s hands. Then they sat him in the back of the police car. Bars crossed the car windows. Then they started driving Feester to jail to be arrested.
“Oh boy” whispered Feester.
The police lead the boy to a cell.
“Now, tell us what really happened” said a police.
“So, what happened was, I really like candy but I didn’t have any money so I decided to steal.”
“And?” said the police.
“And then I felt guilty so I tried to give it back unnoticed, but Mr. Barty caught me red handed.”
The policeman smiled.
“A smart boy to use ‘red handed’” he whispered to his companion.
“So stealing wasn’t a good choice was it?” a policeman asked.
“No, it wasn’t” said Feester.
Then the police got up and left.
AN HOUR LATER
The police came back. “We called your mother. She was worried sick about you. She says it’s okay if you come home.” He paused. “If you want to... “
Feester jumped up. “I want to!”
Then they drove Feester home.
“Feester!” said his mother as she game him about 1000 kisses. “Don’t ever steal again,” she said. Then she burst out crying.
“I’m sorry Mom,” said Feester.
Then Feester and his family live happily ever after.
THE END.
No! Not the end. Barty still didn’t forgive Feester.
THE END.
No! Then Feester explained and Barty forgave him.

THE END.

Being a Chef

When I am older I want to be a chef.  For dinner I would serve fries, chicken, rice, roast beef, pizza and macaroni.  For dinner drinks I would serve Sprite, milk, water, root beer, Coke and Dr. Pepper.  For breakfast I would serve pancakes, sausage, bacon, sunnyside up eggs, scrambled eggs, blueberry pancakes and hash browns.  For breakfast drinks I would serve milk, water, root beer and Sprite.  I want to be a chef really badly!
