Ecosystem by Violet

Piper and her family liked animals a lot.  They had up to one thousand pets in their house.  The thing is they had one crazy pet named Mr. Ecosystem.  It was a crazy chicken.  It was always out of its mind.

Instead of regular chicken food, it ate asparagus and mustard.  One day Piper said, “Alright Mr. Ecosytem, time for lunch.”

Here’s what he answered, “bok, bok, bok.”

“Oh, I see,” said Piper, “you want to eat a hotdog!” So that’s what he ate.

After that, Mr. Ecosystem decided to walk around the house.  Just then, Piper’s little brother Sam came running down the hall.  “What’s going on!” he said. “You two are my favorite animals.”

“BOK!” said Mr. Ecosystem. “What is it,” said Piper.  Sam said, “look!” and Piper looked.  Mr. Ecosystem had stepped in another animal’s food!

“Mom!!!” said Piper very loudly.

Their mom came running down the hall.  “What’s the problem?” she said.  “Mr. Ecosystem stepped in another animal’s food!”

“Oh great,” said their mom. 

“I wish he was a normal chicken,” said Sam.

The next day at dinner, Piper’s dad said, “I would like to give away Eco.”

“Don’t do that!” said Sam.

“Why do you want to?” said Piper.

“I would like to give away Mr. Ecosystem because he is just too crazy.”

“We’ve got to figure out something, quick, because we like him as a pet,” said Piper’s mom.

The next day, Mr. Ecosystem at 85 wild turkeys. “I know we should take him to the vet,” said Piper’s mom. 

When they got to the vet, Dr. Joe said, “Why is this chicken pink?”

“That’s what’s most crazy about him,” said Piper. The dr. decided to take an x-ray.

“I think you guys should come back tomorrow to pick him up,” said Dr. Joe.

“No, please, I don’t want to!” said Sam.

“Please get along,” said Piper’s mom.  So they went back home.

The next day at 5:30 am, Piper and Sam were jumping on their parents’ bed. “Today we get to pick up Mr. Ecosystem!” said Piper and Sam. 

“It’s 5:30 in the morning, why are you up so early?” said Piper’s mom. 

“It’s really 5:31,” said Piper’s dad. Everyone ignored him a lot.

After Piper’s parents had gotten a little more rest, they to Dr. Joes. “I found something about about him during the x-rays,” said Dr. Joe.

           

“What is it?” said Piper.

“He is too quarters chicken, one quarter mouse and one quarter pig,” he said. The family only thought Mr. Ecosystem was a chicken.

Mr. Ecosystem started acting extremely weird. One day Piper said “I think we should take him back to the vet mom’’.

“I think so to said a mysterious voice behind them’’. It was the strangest looking guy ever!

He had a white T-shirt, white pants, and slick black overalls. He had black cowboy boots and a black hat. His name was David Bazzar. “Who are you’’? asked Piper.” I am David Bazzar’’ he said.

Two hours later he said “I heard you have a very strange chicken’’.David said.”We were just about to take to the vet’’ said Pipers mom. Just then David headed straight out the door.

At Dr. Joes Dr.Joe said”I`ve sent David Bazzar to talk to you about Mr. Ecosystem’’.

“We know said Piper’’.

I’ve made some special food for Mr. Ecossystem to eat,’’ said Dr. Joe.

What will happen to him’’ asked Pipers mom. “He will turn into a normal chicken, said Dr. Joe.

The food turned out to be dead worms and dry corn. “ I hope this is going to work’’ said Piper.

“Me too’’ said Sam hopefully. All of Pipers family wanted Mr. Ecosystem to be a regular chicken.

Days passed and Mr. Ecosystem got more like a regular chicken. He started acting normal like a regular chicken. Dr. Joe took another x-ray and said he was now a regular chicken.

“IU can’t believe it!’’ said Piper.

“Finally we have a regular chicken!’’ said Sam Evryone was so happy they decided to celebrate.

That is the story of how Mr. Ecosystem became a regular chicken.
