I am an expert on fish. I started when my cousin got fish. Soon we got a fish tank and fish.

There are 3 places that certain fish hang out--the top, middle and the bottom. You can also get sea snails, they reproduce fast. So far all my fish like the top.

There are a lot of things to do to set up a tank. First you have to get the tank a thermometer and a heater. You can also get decorations for your tank. Rinse and dry them, then put them in the tank. Put in rocks, then an inch of water.  Check for leaks and fill all the way.

Now the final steps are about getting fish. First get some products that release a bacteria that cleans fish waste. Some names are Bio-fish and Bacto-life.

Mason - Raising chickens

How to Raise Chickens

First to raise a chicken you must get an egg. Actually, you can get chicks at some stores.  Once you get chickens, you must name them. Sometimes it is hard to name them. I named mine after their personality.

Now I will teach you how to care for chickens. When you check for eggs, do not lift the chicken out of the box.  I’ve done this once and got hurt fingers. When feeding the chickens, pour chicken food all over the coop. Do not feed them compost, they are chickens, not worms. Raising chickens is very fun.

"Spring Break"

            On spring break we are going to my grandma's house. Later that day my cousins will come. We will play lots of video games. My sister will try to ride on other dogs. Finally Mejeliyas and Hayden will go to our room and play pranks.

            The next morning I will wake up early and grease the ladders. When I hear a "thump, bang, bump, bump, bump" I will run. Later we might go to the beach. If we do, I will face my cousin Gianna and fall face-first into a puddle. It will be good times.

            When I get home to (to grandma's house). I will have soda and sandwich. Then I will watch my cousins play video games. I might talk about The Lego Movie to my cousin. I hope that all this happens.

Haupia - A Hawaiian Dessert

Ingredients:

1 Quart Coconut Milk

½ cup white sugar

½ tsp salt

¼ cup water

¼ cup cornstarch

Directions:

1. Add Coconut Milk, sugar and salt to a saucepan, stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

2. Reduce heat to medium low, cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.

3. Make a slurry in a separate bowl by gradually whisking water and cornstarch together.

4. Whisk slurry into the coconut mixture and allow to reduce and thicken until it is the density of yogurt.

5. Pour into glass 8x8 pan and allow to cool to room temperature.

6. Refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.

My mentor is my Tutu ( or grandma). She taught me how to make Haupia, which is coconut pudding. In Hawaii, there are many uses for coconut trees. Some people use its coconuts for food and its milk for drink. Some people make roofs out of its leaves. But people never cut down the trees, if you do you have to plant 2 more in its place. If you cut down someone else’s, it’s like declaring war. That is what I learned from my mentor.

Do you want to know how to save money?  I’m going to teach you how to save money.

            If you save money you can more to spend. There is a tip if you get some money spend some and save the rest. You might able to earn money for doing jobs. If you practice saving money as a kid you might not have as many money problems when you’re an adult. Saving money could do you good.

            Now I’ll teach you needs and wants. Needs are what you a really need. Legos are not a need. Water, food and shelter are all needs. It is good to spend money on needs. Always satisfy your needs before your wants.

            Now I’ll tell you about wants. It is okay spend money on wants. It is okay to spend money on wants. Here’s another tip: don’t spend saved money on candy it’s a waste. Before you spend money ask yourself if you really want it.

Fencing

            I’m an expert on fencing. It all started when I began reading Spiderwick, it has a lot of fencing. Then we moved and there was a fencing studio across the street. Now I have been fencing since summer. That is how I got started fencing.

            To fence you have to have a lot of equipment. The most important thing is a sword. Also a mask is important, if you don’t have a mask you could get badly injured. Another important thing is to have a breast plate, so if you get stabbed it won’t hurt. Fencing is fun when you have armor.

            Did you know they have fencing in the Olympics? My dad has fenced in the junior Olympics. There are bronze, silver and gold medals. Mostly in the Olympics men fence men. Someday I want to be in the fencing Olympics.

            Fencing is really fun. I’m going to keep fencing so I can get better. I’m going to keep practicing so I can get in the Olympics. You have to be really good to be in the Olympics. I hope you now know more about fencing then you did before.

            Narrator: Once sun and wind decided to make an ocean, but they (skipped) different things to match.

            Sun: I think we should create an ocean on Earth.

            Wind: Where will we get the water?

            Sun: There is a mine with and sea plants and animals.

            Seaweed: Look sun and moon are coming.

            Wind: I will blow you in the water and sun will put the water in the ocean.

            All sea animals: Thank you.

            Narrator: So sun and wind created the ocean.

            My alarm rang but I was already awake. It was going to be the first time I went to Enchanted forest and I was full of excitement. In the afternoon my cousin Eliyes came over, we had lunch and we were off to Enchanted forest.

            When we got there we had to go through a castle. The castle was blue sign that said, “don’t feed the dragons matches”. Then we got to the rides, the first one we went on was the Bob sled. We went into a mountain, there was a troll there. When we did all the  lids it was time to go. I couldn’t wait to come back!

“Wasting food is horrible.”

            It travels to a place called a landfills . There it gets burned in a incinerator  Sometimes when landfill sites are fall they leak and pollutes the earth, land and water. If no one does anything about it we would live in a very polluted city.

            Have you ever heard of composting? Composting is when you take food scraps such as onion peels and  eggshells  and put them into leaves to make soil. You can put scraps in worn bins. You also can feed scraps to chickens. My plan is to compost everyday.

          I like to go to the forest on a rainy day. You can hear rustling in the trees. You can see salamanders crawling out from their logs. Once in a while you’ll hear a bold eagle or a toad croaking. Though it is quiet is bustling with activity.

          You can smell skunk flower in the swamp. Newts live in the swamp. There are birds chirping in the trees, you can smell pine wood in the distance. Come to me in my forest.
